Are airport transfers included in hotel rates?
The hotel rates do not include transfers, but we can arrange transportation by private taxi to the hotel from Montego Bay International Airport. Just send us your flight details and we'll set up a no-hassle ride between the airport and Samsara or Legends Resorts. We also arrange transfers back to the airport at the end of your stay. Yes! Once you're
on the All-Inclusive Plan, you may have your meals and drinks at both!
However, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for having meals at the sister
property. Please visit the Front Desk of your primary hotel to reserve
a table at least 3 hours in advance. This courtesy helps us with meal

What is the voltage in Jamaica?
Our voltage is
the same as North America, 110 Volts. European guests will need

At what times does the free shuttle run between Samsara & Legends?
The free shuttle
runs daily from Samsara to Legends at 10:00 am, and from Legends to
Samsara at 4:00 pm. We also have dinner shuttles from Samsara to
Legends on Tuesday and Friday nights departing Samsara at 6:30 pm,
returning Samsara at 9:00 pm. And, a dinner shuttle from Legends to
Samsara on Thursdays and Sundays, departing Legends at 6:00 pm and
returning to Legends at 9:00 pm. (We do several "unofficial" trips
during the day as well, if you're in need of a ride and we're going

Is tap water safe to drink?
Yes. Tap water is
very safe to drink in Jamaica. We also sell bottled water. Please note

What's the difference between Beachside and Gardenside Rooms at Legends?
The beach road
bisects Legends property, so some rooms are on the "land side" or
gardenside and some rooms are on the beach side - of the road.
Beachside however does not indicate beachview. It means they are
situated on the beach side of the road that bisects the property! Back to Top
Do pre-paid phone cards work with the phones in the hotel rooms?
Our in-room
telephone system does not accept pre-paid calling cards bought locally
or overseas. However you may use them easily at local phone booths

Does Samsara & Legends provide free snorkeling equipment?
Samsara & Legends no longer provide complimentary snorkeling
equipment. We do however strongly encourage you to bring, purchase or
rent your own snorkel gear and enjoy the tropical wonderland that we

Spring Break
typically lasts the first three weeks of March. There are many daytime

Do people need a PASSPORT to enter Jamaica?
Yes! Since
January 2007, all visitors require a valid PASSPORT to enter and exit
Jamaica! Airlines will not allow you to check-in if you do not have a
valid passport so avoid disappointment and get your passport issued if

Does Samsara & Legends allow unregistered visitors onto the property?
Yes! Everyone is
welcome at Samsara & Legends. If a registered hotel guest wishes to
invite a friend who is not a registered guest at the hotel, they only
have to sign the visitor in at the front desk or with the security
guard. If the unregistered guest decides to spend the night at the

Did Hurricane Dean damage Samsara or Legends?
No! Thankfully we
have no major damage to report. The staff and hotel guests are all
fine! We just have some cleaning up to do from the winds, rain and

based on standard gardenside rooms. We generally offer specials on

Is there Internet access at Samsara & Legends Resorts?
Yes, we have high speed DSL computer kiosks at both Samsara & Legends. Personal login codes can be purchased at the front
desk for 25 cents per minute. Your code can be re-used
over and over on different occasions until the time is finished, and the codes can be used at either Samsara or Legends! Codes are sold for 15, 30 and

If I request a specific room #, does the hotel guarantee that I'll get it?
Specific Room #'s are never guaranteed, but we do take your request very seriously. We will do our utmost to provide your requested room or a similar one at check-in.
