- Samsara and Legends both supply bath towels only. We recommend that you bring your own beach towels for your convenience. Or better yet, why not purchase one of the very nice souvenir beach towels here in Negril, and take it back home as a keepsake!
Back to Top - Are airport transfers included in hotel rates?
- The hotel rates do not include transfers, but we can arrange easy and convenient transportation to the hotel from Montego Bay International Airport. Just send us your flight details and we'll set up a no-hassle ride between the airport and Samsara or Legends Resorts. We also arrange transfers back to the airport at the end of your stay.

- Our rooms do not have fridges or kitchenettes, but we do have excellent prices on meal plans exchangeable at both Samsara AND Legends Negril Resorts. It's your vacation after all - so let us do the cooking for you!
Back to Top - Are All-Inclusive Meals & Drinks exchangeable at both Samsara and Legends?
- Yes! Once you're on the All-Inclusive Plan, you may have your meals and drinks at both! However, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for having meals at the sister property. Please visit the Front Desk of your primary hotel to reserve a table at least 3 hours in advance. This courtesy helps us with meal planning. Thanks!

- Our Hot Deals are based on Double occupancy, however we do also have special pricing for Single Occupancy.

- Our voltage is the same as North America, 110 Volts. European guests will need adaptors and possibly transformers depending on electronic device.

- Yes. Samsara and Legends offer safety deposit boxes at our offices, for rent at $3/day.
Back to Top - At what times does the free shuttle run between Samsara & Legends?
- The free shuttle runs daily from Samsara to Legends at 10:00 am, and from Legends to Samsara at 4:00 pm. We also have dinner shuttles from Samsara to Legends on Tuesday and Friday nights departing Samsara at 6:30 pm, returning Samsara at 9:00 pm. And, a dinner shuttle from Legends to Samsara on Thursdays and Sundays, departing Legends at 6:00 pm and returning to Legends at 9:00 pm. (We do several "unofficial" trips during the day as well, if you're in need of a ride and we're going anyway - no problem!)

- Yes. Tap water is very safe to drink in Jamaica. We also sell bottled water. Please note that bottled water is not included in the all-inclusive plan.

Back to Top - What's the difference between Beachside and Gardenside Rooms at Legends?
- The beach road bisects Legends property, so some rooms are on the "land side" or gardenside and some rooms are on the beach side - of the road. Beachside however does not indicate beachview. It means they are situated on the beach side of the road that bisects the property!
Back to Top - Do pre-paid phone cards work with the phones in the hotel rooms?
- Our in-room telephone system does not accept pre-paid calling cards bought locally or overseas. However you may use them easily at local phone booths available around town.
Back to Top - Does Samsara & Legends provide free snorkeling equipment?
- Samsara & Legends no longer provide complimentary snorkeling equipment. We do however strongly encourage you to bring, purchase or rent your own snorkel gear and enjoy the tropical wonderland that we are so lucky to have in our 'front yard'!

- Spring Break typically lasts the first three weeks of March. There are many daytime and nighttime activities and events planned for Spring Break in Negril geared towards college students from the USA.

- Yes! We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. (4% process fee is added to credit card transactions)

- Tax and service is additional at 20% The total price for the Wedding Package including tax and s.c. is $648. (Visit our wedding page for more details and great photos from our Weddings!)
Back to Top - Do people need a PASSPORT to enter Jamaica?
- Yes! Since January 2007, all visitors require a valid PASSPORT to enter and exit Jamaica! Airlines will not allow you to check-in if you do not have a valid passport so avoid disappointment and get your passport issued if you don't have one already!
Back to Top - Does Samsara & Legends allow unregistered visitors onto the property?
- Yes! Everyone is welcome at Samsara & Legends Negril Hotels. If a registered hotel guest wishes to invite a friend who is not a registered guest at the hotel, they only have to sign the visitor in at the front desk or with the security guard. If the unregistered guest decides to spend the night at the hotel, there is an applicable fee.
Back to Top - Is an incidental deposit required upon check in?
- Yes, we require an imprint of your credit card or $100 cash deposit as security upon check in. This deposit goes towards any incidental charges not included in your package such as food & beverage tabs, spa treatments, telephone calls, etc. Nothing is actually charged to your card until check out. We ask that accounts be settled by 9:00 PM the evening before check out.

- Hot Deals are based on standard gardenside rooms. We generally offer specials on other room categories too. If you're interested in a room type other than standard gardenside, please send us an inquiry and we'll be happy to let you know!
Back to Top - Is there Internet access at Samsara & Legends Resorts?
- Yes. We offer Free Wi-Fi at Legends' beachfront restaurant and bar area, and Free Wi-Fi at Samsara’s Ciao Jamaica lounge area. We also have high speed DSL computer terminals for guests at both Samsara & Legends that use personal login codes which can be purchased at the front desk for 25 cents per minute. Your code can be re-used on different occasions until the time is finished. The codes can also be used at either Samsara or Legends! Codes are sold for 15, 30 and 60 minute durations.

- Specific Room #'s are never guaranteed, but we do take your request very seriously. We will do our utmost to provide your requested room or a similar one at check-in. Please understand that due to unforeseeable circumstances it is not possible to 'guarantee' each and every request for a specific room number.
Back to Top - Is the jacuzzi at Samsara heated?
- The jacuzzi at Samsara is not heated. Most health experts don't recommend combining hot water with tropical sunshine plus pina coladas! It is greatly refreshing to sit back and enjoy the cool bubbling water instead.

- The Gardenview rooms at Samsara are located across the street from the oceanside section of the hotel in a peaceful setting surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
Back to Top - Is it required to wear a bracelet for guests on a meal plan?
- Yes, we have different colored wristbands for our meal plans. As some of our guests are not on a meal plan, the bands allow our staff to identify you easily and insure your exchange privileges at both resorts. Wristbands must be worn at all times during your stay and are removed at check out.
Back to Top - What is the $1 per night charge on my bill?
- As of September 1, 2012 please note the government announced a new room tax. US $1 per night will be added to your bill payable at check-out.
Back to Top - Is there a dress code in the dining room?
- Yes, although it is still casual we do require that guests dining and/or drinking at the bar wear cover-ups over bathing suits as well as footwear of some kind. In addition, for everyone's safety and comfort we ask that guests do not enter the dining / bar area in wet clothing or bathing suits. We kindly ask that you dry off first.
